My work with Toronto Pho began with an enquiry about a set of fun Vietnam-themed murals to enhance the renovation of their flagship location. As this family-owned and operated business was setting its sights on expanding into franchising, they wanted an updated aesthetic with a cool, handmade feel that would set the vibe across all of their locations. 

For this, I developed a suite of hand-drawn digital illustrations that I assembled into mural designs that my team and I transferred to the white walls of three Toronto Pho locations. The result was a family of restaurants with a common decor theme that became instantly iconic to the Toronto Pho brand. 

I was later tasked with designing what is now their signature 5-piece set of recyclable takeout containers, boxes, and paper bags. This was my first foray into packaging design, and it’s been a massive hit with influencers and Vietnamese food fans all across the GTA.
